Social networks are fun, but they often are not very thoughtful. The most-discussed topic on Facebook and Twitter is the weather. The weather is important to us all, but there is a reason we call it "small" talk. In previous generations, humans used the hearth or dinner table to discuss life's lessons via an oral history. Due to a number of factors, today's generation often lacks the time or opportunity to have meaningful discussions and share their own oral histories.
Life's Manual's mission is to enable its members to communicate/share freely in a comfortable, non-judgmental [digital] place. The basic premise is that people enjoy sharing their knowledge and beliefs. The Life's Manual site will ask its members to share what factors, philosophies and/or rules-to-live-by they have used in their life to find happiness/success.
